I ate beef shawarma platter and it’s delicious! They cook fast and prices are reasonable. Will definitely stop by again and recommend this food cart to my friends! Also, just so you know, everything except gyro meat (lamb/beef mix) is halal.
This is one of my favorite food d carts in the area, their baba ganoush is the best I’ve had in Portland!
I have seen the cart pod many times and always wanted to try this particular cart and today I finally went. I'm regretting not going sooner. The food is absolutely delicious! I ordered #1, Gyro wrap with lamb and beef and it was soooo good. The meat was seasoned well, tender, and the garlic sauce added a nice hint of flavor. The falafals had just the right amount of spice and were fluffy and tender. Service was super friendly as well. While waiting for my order, I observed several regulars coming by to either order or pick up their meal which shows that Grill On The Go PDX has a nice following. Will definitely be back to try their other dishes!
I was NOT expecting this place to blow my mind with flavor, but WOW. juicy, flavorful chicken, perfectly cooked rice, and the best part is the salad?!?!? the salad is amazing. super vinegar-y, tasty dressing. can't believe how good and cheap and fast this is. wow.
Amazing! The food tastes like home cooking. Some of the best middle eastern for I’ve ever had. They give great sized portions for amazing prices. It’s hard to find great middle eastern food like this in outer south east Portland. I recommend the beef or chicken shawarma plates.
Good Mediterranean, food consistently yummy. It is a good value, considering what a restaurant would charge for a meal. The sheltered table area is OK, but I recommend taking you meal home and reheating it (microwave doesn't seem to affect the meats), maybe adding some other veggie things to the salad. 3 plates (kabob, gyro and falafel) was enough to fill 2 people, plus have some leftovers. They are very generous with their rice, which is delicious. Everything was "better than it needed to be," as we say around our house when something is good.

I’ve been coming here for 2 years now and oh my god, it hits every time. It’s such good food for a very affordable price for how much they give you. The people who work here are so incredibly nice and do everything so well. It’s really a great place to go. 10/10
